Hook Norton Sports and Social Club receives 5 Star award in food hygiene

Scores on the Doors is a nationwide scheme which rates the food hygiene standards in food businesses including restaurants, cafes, deli's, school kitchens, takeaways and street trader's food vans.

The scheme started on 10th June 2009.
The score a food business gets will be based on the results of inspections carried out by council environmental health officers. This score is then translated into a star rating for each business.

Colette and Kerrie went to Bloxham Independent school on the afternoon of Tuesday 16th June, to receive the 5 Star award on behalf of the Sports and Social Club. The Five Star award means - Excellent. This means there is an excellent record of compliance. Standards are high and conform to statutory obligations and industry codes of practice.

 Out of 956 business's in the Cherwell District, only 54 were given 5 Stars.
